Some of the items on my order are unavailable. Should I expect a refund?
We don’t process payments until after your order has been dispatched. The amount you are charged is adjusted to reflect any missing items. As you are only charged for items we have sent to you, you will not receive a refund. If the amount charged is lower than the pre-authorisation, this should be released by your bank within 2-10 working days.
What is your policy on expiry dates for fresh items?
When picking your orders we ensure that any fresh items have a minimum of 3 days shelf-life on the day of your delivery.
What packaging will be used for my order?
Our deliveries are packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard boxes, which are made in Saudi Arabia and printed with vegetable inks. The tape that holds the box closed is gummed paper, which can be recycled with the box. In order to be able to provide national and international deliveries of food items, our courier partners require us to have a robust packaging process in place for packages to withstand the delivery process, which involves conveyor belt parcel sorting. Damaged deliveries lead to food waste and more packaging being used when providing replacements. This is something that is very important us and we only use biodegradable and home compostable, or recycled and recyclable materials to pack our orders. Where we are able to do fresh deliveries in Saudi by direct courier, we use shopping bags in reusable insulated boxes. We regularly review our packaging solutions to ensure that we strike the right balance between minimizing packaging and protecting our customers’ orders.
